Sewing: The good, the bad, and the ugly! lol

The sleeves I added to the dress did not work. Took them off. Will try another style.

Bought a plus size skirt that fit great in the hips and butt, but the waist was 4" larger than advertised. Took the waist in. I wish every sewing project were that simple. Threw awesome but too-long top in the wash, dried on hot to shrink. Dyed some fabric pink by throwing it in the wash on hot with my red hippie skirt which always bleeds like mad. I will take one more stab at sleeves tonight using this pink fabric.

The boy will be at his martial arts class tonight. I'm taking that computer of his out of the trunk of my car. I've been asking him to do it for 2 months now. Enough! Granted, my arthritis is going to hurt like hell for this, and my back is going to be screaming, but too bad. That's what pain pills are for. I'm sick of toting this thing around in my trunk, decreasing my mileage and using up room where I carry groceries. It goes. If I absolutely can't lift it, I will get a girlfriend to help and we will carry it together.

Never stand in the way of a determined woman; you'll just get run over.
