Color calibration!

Friend let me use his monitor color calibration on my laptop. OMG what a difference! Before, no matter how I fiddled with my levels and adjustments, it simply would not display white whites, and everything was just messed up looking. The calibrator reset everything...it even measured the ambient light levels (which were for typical incandescent home-type light) and took them into consideration. Everything looks so much better! Now, if I do a little photo editing, I will pretty much get what I'm seeing on my monitor. When I get a little money perhaps I will buy my own calibrator. Good lord, these days a decent one is only $100!
