Friend is out of the hospital with lots of meds, a stented artery, instructions to do very little for a week and then she can cautiously return to work but no crazy activity levels. Hopefully this will be the last time anything cardiac related happens to her. It was basically a freak biological accident.
Got my taxes done with software. Came close to breaking even. Get a bit back from the feds, owe the state a little. I'll be about $300 to the good, all told. I don't make enough from my additional jobs to be filing quarterly. In fact my self employed income tax on them was reduced because I make so little. It's just pocket money, except it's very important pocket money because it fills in the gaps where otherwise I'd be screwed and eating rice for a month when I have to buy tires or something. So yeah, that's that.
I still made like 4K less for 2008 than 2007 because no bonus, no profit sharing, no cost of living raise, nothing. I really do have less money to spread over more expenses, even with the extra jobs. This economy sucks the bag!!!
I keep being munchy. arrrrgh. damn PMS. Yes I had a hysterectomy, but the ovaries are still in, which means I still get bloaty and munchy. XP
