New cake flavor
A friend asked me to do a coffee and cream flavor cake. Why not, I figured. I started with a white cake mix. Put in everything the directions called for. Added a half tbsp. of that cream flavor baker's secret stuff, then divided the batter in half and put into one half a syrup made of 3 heaping spoons of instant coffee dissolved in a little water. Globbed batters alternately into cake pan, swirled with toothpick. Saved a little of the coffee syrup to add to the chocolate icing to make it mocha. It was really good!
