ok so I found out yesterday that a girlfriend's birthday is today. Got the cakes baked and the candy roses made (can't make icing roses to save my life. pbbtttthhhttt.) and today I have to ice them (yes them, one large for the party and one little dinky one just for her.)
I got a defective bag of Wilton pink candy melts. Instead of melting, they turned into a gross claylike substance. I had to throw them out and use purple instead. bother. Purple roses, pale blue background....hmmm..... I need to scout around for some inspiration for flower placement and stuff.
